FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT RV’ing

Below you’ll find a list of commonly asked questions about renting a Lightweight RV. If you can’t find the answer to your question here, please feel free to contact us.

Is there a minimum age requirement to rent an RV?

Yes, the person renting the RV must be 25 years of age or older and have a valid driver’s license.

What if I have to cancel my reservation?

Are there any coverages provided with the rental?

All Rentals are Fully Insured with Supplemental Liability Insurance (SLI) Up To $1M for Stress-Free, Risk-Free Rentals (Not valid in Mexico or Canada).

How long can I dry camp in the RV?

Dry camping means you are camping without electricity, water, or sewer. The length of time an RV can go before it needs to be “recharged” (refilled with water, sewer emptied, batteries recharged) is usually about 48 hours depending on the use. 

How many miles are included with the RV rental?

Unlimited miles.

Are pets allowed in the RV?

We love our furry friends but unfortunately, we don’t allow them in the RV. Cleaning charges of up to $150 WILL apply for pet odor, hair, etc.

Is smoking allowed in the RV?

Smoking is NOT allowed in our rental units. A minimum $500.00 deodorizing fee WILL apply for odor caused by smoking.

Are we allowed to travel into Canada?

No, Rentals cannot be taken to Canada.

Are we allowed to travel into Mexico?

No, Rentals cannot be taken to Mexico.

Can I transport rafts, canoes, etc. on top of RVs?

No, nothing should be transported on top of the RV. This will damage the RV. 

Is propane and water included?

Yes, propane and water is included with each rental. 

Can we travel one way to our destination or do we have to travel round trip?
  • We offer delivery and pickup services for an additional fee.
    • Delivery base rate is $120 up to 60 miles.
    • The fee for delivery over 60 miles is $2/mile up to 120 miles.

Delivery rates will be calculated based on the mileage to the renter’s destination and not mileage for the round trip.

Delivery includes setting up the RV in your camping spot and hooking up water and electricity.
